Fundraising Support Volunteers

About the Role

DRC relies on fundraising to continue delivering vital services to disabled people across Bedfordshire. Our 'Fundraising Support Volunteers' help us organise events, apply for grants, and run campaigns that keep the centre going. If you've got energy, creativity, and a passion for making a difference, we'd love your help.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Helping plan and run fundraising events

  • Supporting grant research and application processes

  • Assisting with fundraising campaigns — online and in the community

  • Helping manage donation platforms and donor communications

  • Contributing ideas for new fundraising initiatives

What We're Looking For

  • An interest in fundraising, events, or community engagement

  • Creative thinker with good organisational skills

  • Comfortable using email and basic office tools

  • Experience in fundraising or events is a bonus, but not essential

  • Reliable and self-motivated

Role Details

Hours: Flexible — from a few hours per month

Location: Mix of remote and in-person (Bedford)

Expenses: Travel and out-of-pocket expenses reimbursed
