Outreach & Events Volunteers

About the Role

Help us spread the word about the DRC and connect with the wider community. Our Outreach & Events volunteers support us at local events, community gatherings and awareness campaigns — representing DRC, sharing information and helping us reach the people who need us most.

What You'll Be Doing

• Staffing DRC information stalls at local events and community fairs

• Talking to members of the public about our services and signposting where appropriate

• Helping set up and manage events hosted by DRC

• Distributing leaflets and materials in the community

• Supporting social media content creation at events (photos, short videos)

What We're Looking For

• Confident and friendly communicator

• Enthusiastic about raising awareness of disability and independent living

• Reliable and able to commit to events in advance

• Comfortable speaking to a wide range of people

• Some events may be at weekends or evenings

Role Details

Hours: Flexible — event-based commitment

Location: Across Bedfordshire

Expenses: Travel expenses reimbursed
